The document here contains information about Richmond Borough extracted from the Chamberlain's Accounts for Richmond Borough by LP Wenham. It is likely that these refer to the ringing of the bell(s) in Holy Trinity Chapel in Market Place. Nonetheless it is also likely that the ringers rang both Holy Trinity and St Mary's bells as the technique of full circle English style ringing was practised in both places. In particular the Apedal (variously Apdall or Apedal) family are recorded as receiving payment from both the Chamberlain and the Parish Church over a period from 1680 to 1779. At the time Holy Trinity Chapel was the responsibility of the Borough not the Church authorities.
